(JEFFERSON CITY, MO) – The 2nd Annual “Whiskey, Wine, & Welcome Home” presented by Vessell Bridges Murphy Law Offices is happening on Wednesday, March 1st, 2023 from 5:30-8:30pm at Capital Bluffs Event Center, 1616 Oilwell Rd. Suite B, Jefferson City, MO 65101. Tickets for the fundraising event are $75/each and the event is open to the public. 100% of proceeds support homeless and at-risk Veterans throughout mid-Missouri.
You are invited to join us for an exclusive, VIP experience featuring a unique tour and high-end whiskey and wine tasting, amazing food pairings, cigar patio, live music performed by The Norm Ruebling Band, and a silent and live auction, featuring a one-of-a-kind piece of art up for bid, created by Purple Heart United States Army Veteran, Ezekiel “Zeke” Crozier.
Injured in Afghanistan in 2011, after his Chinook helicopter crashed while infiltrating ground troops, Zeke turns his traumatic brain injury into Handy-Cappin,’ in an effort to support other Veterans across the country. “I know what it means to serve and sacrifice for my country,” said Crozier. “America’s Veterans earn our gratitude, and it is an honor to do my part supporting those in need.”
Welcome Home anticipates more than 200 guests will be in attendance, including many of Missouri’s statewide elected officials and staff. “We are beyond excited to bring such a special, successful event to Jefferson City for the second year,” said Megan Sievers, Welcome Home Executive Director. “The support from Mr. Crozier, our sponsors and guests mean the world to our mission, but more importantly the funds raised will directly impact the lives of the Veterans and families we serve. For all of that, and so much more, we are honored and grateful.”
