At Welcome Home, every Veteran is met with dignity, compassion, and care. For more than three decades, Welcome Home has walked alongside Veterans and their families who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness, offering not only immediate help, but stability, encouragement, and a path forward.

Welcome Home’s mission is to honor Veterans and restore lives. Its vision is to end Veteran homelessness. And its values guide every part of the work: Serve with Honor. Serve with Compassion. Serve with Excellence.

Through its Emergency and Transitional Shelter Program, Welcome Home provides safe, dignified shelter for Veterans and families in crisis. Veterans have access to private rooms, welcoming community space, well-balanced meals, and supportive services at zero cost. The shelter is more than a place to sleep. It is a place where Veterans can begin to rebuild, with case management, transportation, employment support, housing assistance, legal and recovery resources, and help navigating VA healthcare and earned benefits.

Through its Permanent Housing Program, Welcome Home helps Veterans and their families move into affordable, sustainable housing and remain stably housed. The team meets Veterans where they are, supports housing search and placement, advocates with landlords, provides financial planning, offers temporary financial assistance when needed, and works to prevent homelessness before it happens.

Together, these programs help Veterans move from crisis toward lasting independence. Whether someone needs emergency shelter, help finding a home, support staying housed, or guidance through the systems meant to serve them, Welcome Home surrounds each Veteran with practical help and compassionate care.

For donors, this compassion is matched by measurable impact and responsible stewardship:
